14th–17th MARCH 2024

Milan, March 17th 2024

The 15th Historical Commemoration of the Coppa Milano-Sanremo officially ended with the victory of Passanante and Molgora – crew number 1 – at the wheel of a 1937 Fiat 508, who drove an extraordinary race, taking first place for the fourth time in a row. Great performance also for the second classified crew, number 2, formed by Di Pietra Francesco and Di Pietra Giuseppe in a 1938 Fiat 508. Third place went to Moceri Giovanni and Moretti Alessandro, crew number 4, in a 1941 Lancia Ardea, in what was a hard-fought race right to the last lap, full of twists and turns right to the finish line.

Competition, spectacularity, tradition and savoir-faire have made this 15th Historical Re-enactment an unmissable appointment with a unique and exclusive charm thanks to the same spirit as always and the same passion of the gentlemen drivers who conceived it in 1906. The Lady of the Races offered the eighty participating crews an edition full of unmissable, logistical and sporting novelties along a route of approximately 1000 kilometres through the territories of Lombardy, Piedmont, Liguria and the Principality of Monaco, where more than 115 special stages were held.

The crews gathered on Thursday 14 March at the Autodromo Tazio Nuvolari in Cervesina, where the competition officially began with regularity trials. On Friday 15 March, the race set off in the direction of Sanremo, passing through the evocative Langhe area, finally arriving in the evocative surroundings of the Principality of Monaco. Yesterday, Saturday 16 March, the crews were able to challenge each other between the land and sea of the Ligurian territory between Loano and Rapallo in its renovated Carlo Riva Port, crossing paths for the first time with the prestigious Milan-Sanremo cycling event.

Today, Sunday 17 March saw the competitors start from Rapallo after a passage through Piazza De Ferrari in the city centre of Genoa, before the spectacular arrival in the heart of Milan’s historic city centre, where the final prize-giving ceremony was held at the AC Milano headquarters in Corso Venezia.

For the classic Legend cars from 1946 to 1990, the prize was won by Angrisani Marco and Monti Luca – crew number 101 – with a 1972 Alfa Romeo Giulia GTV 2000.
